Didn't Spend It All?

Any leftover credit on your RFID wristband can be refunded after the event. Simply follow the post-event instructions provided on-site or online to claim your refund quickly and easily. No hassle, no waste—just peace of mind.

RFID Cashless Terms & Conditions – Dayboro Rodeo

At this year’s Dayboro Rodeo, we’re offering RFID wristbands as a fast, secure, and convenient payment option across the event. While cash and credit/debit cards are still accepted, RFID is the preferred method to help reduce queues and improve your overall experience. Please read the following terms and conditions relating to the use of the RFID Cashless System.

Wristband Activation & Use

Your ticket will be scanned on entry and exchanged for an RFID wristband.
Each wristband acts as your entry pass and a tap-and-go payment method across the site.
A $3.50 activation fee applies and is deducted from your first top-up.
Wristbands must remain on your wrist during the event. Lost or removed wristbands will not be replaced or refunded.

Adding Credit to Your Wristband

Online in advance – Purchase a prepaid credit voucher via your Emedia account.
At the event – Visit a Top-Up Station and load credit using cash or card.
Via mobile – Scan the QR code on your wristband to top up from your phone.
Minimum top-up onsite is $10.

Bonus Credit for Prepaid Top-Ups

Bonus credit is applied when your wristband is activated at the event:

$50 prepaid = $5 bonus credit
$100 prepaid = $10 bonus credit
$150 prepaid = $15 bonus credit

Bonus credit becomes available only after your paid credit has been used. It is non-refundable, even if left unused.

Payment Options Onsite

RFID wristbands are the preferred method of payment.
Cash and credit/debit cards are also accepted at participating vendors.
Tap your wristband at the terminal to complete purchases. Remaining balances will be displayed.

Lost or Damaged Wristbands

Lost wristbands cannot be replaced or refunded.
If damaged, see the Info Tent to have your balance transferred to a new wristband.

Refunds for Unused Credit

Refunds apply only to unused paid credit.
Bonus credit is not refundable.
The refund portal is open from 12:00 pm on 6 May to 12:00 pm on 9 May 2025.
A $2.00 admin fee applies to each refund.
You must provide the unique serial number from your wristband.
Refunds will not be processed during the event or after the refund window closes.

Additional Notes

Bonus credit is only available with prepaid vouchers purchased before the event.
Paid credit must be used before bonus credit becomes available.
Unredeemed prepaid vouchers may not be eligible for refund.
Keep your wristband until after the event in case you wish to apply for a refund.
